The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and six partner organizations came together to launch the Economic Recovery Corps in 2023 with a $30 million agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA). After receiving more than 500 applications for host organizations and diligently leading a year-long application process, NC3 was selected as one of the 65 awardees.
The fellow we were matched with, Sydney Davis, is based in Michigan and will be steering our development of community capital curriculum to provide entrepreneurial support organizations (ESOs) supporting underserved populations.
