NC3’s membership base includes organizations and individuals who understand the power of democratizing investment, building strong local economies, and community capital retention. NC3 members are lawyers, financial advisors, economic developers, and more.
We know that our membership has knowledge and practical skills to share with new investors and organizers that are hoping to build their own community investing initiatives. NC3 aims to connect our members to the general public, allowing new projects to flourish with the professional support of community capital experts within our network.
To this end, NC3 hosts a continually-growing Practitioner's Directory. We hope this Practitioner's Directory will help activists in the community capital movement by connecting them with high quality support as they develop their community capital project. Additionally, we hope the program will benefit existing NC3 members and longtime community capital supporters by allowing them to meet new potential clients and collaborators.
How to Read the Directory
Each entry of the directory has all the information needed to get started with a TA Provider, including a description of their services, introductory customer experience, rate, geography, and contact information.
In addition, you can filter the directory by the providers' Technical Assistance Category and Community Capital Strategy. To do so, click the Filter button at the top of the directory.

Values and Responsibility
NC3 supports community capital in order to build a more democratic economy. Not every technical assistance provider will work in alignment with that vision and our values, so we ask that all prospective providers read and agree to act in accordance with our principles.
NC3 has the discretion to remove technical assistance providers from the directory if we are alerted or experience behaviors that are out of line with the community capital principles. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
